Crawfish Eating Competition – Official Terms & Conditions By signing this registration form and participating in the Crawfish Eating Competition (“Competition”), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the following Terms & Conditions. 1. Event Information The Competition is hosted by Lee’s Grand Lake Resort, located at: 24800 S 630 Rd Grove, OK 74344 The Competition will take place on Saturday, May 23 at 5:00 PM. 2. Eligibility Participants must be at least 18 years of age. Participants must complete and sign the official registration form before participating. Employees, management, or immediate family members of Lee’s Grand Lake Resort may participate only at the discretion of the event organizer. 3. Competition Rules Each contestant will be provided with crawfish for the competition. Contestants must consume and properly clean the crawfish to the satisfaction of the judges. The winner will be determined based on: Speed Quantity consumed Cleanliness of the crawfish shells Judges’ decisions are final and binding. Any contestant found cheating, hiding food, spitting out food, receiving outside assistance, or violating event rules may be immediately disqualified. 4. Health & Safety Participants acknowledge that consuming crawfish may involve risks including choking, allergic reactions, digestive discomfort, or other health-related issues. Participants enter and compete at their own risk. Individuals with shellfish allergies, medical conditions, swallowing difficulties, or dietary restrictions should not participate. Lee’s Grand Lake Resort, its owners, staff, volunteers, sponsors, and affiliates are not responsible for any illness, injury, allergic reaction, or damages arising from participation in the Competition. 5. Prize The Grand Prize is a FREE 2-Night Cabin Stay at Lee’s Grand Lake Resort. Prize is subject to availability and blackout dates. Prize has no cash value and may not be transferred, exchanged, or redeemed for cash. Resort policies and reservation requirements apply to the prize stay. 6. Marketing & Promotional Consent By registering for and participating in the Competition, contestants agree that Lee’s Grand Lake Resort may collect and use their personal information, including name, phone number, email address, photographs, videos, and likeness, for marketing, promotional, advertising, social media, and future event communications without additional compensation. Contestants also agree to receive promotional emails, text messages, and marketing communications from Lee’s Grand Lake Resort. Personal information will not be sold to third parties. 7. Media Release By participating, contestants grant Lee’s Grand Lake Resort permission to photograph, video record, and use their name, image, voice, and likeness for promotional, advertising, social media, and marketing purposes without additional compensation. 8. Liability Waiver By participating in this Competition, contestants voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation and release Lee’s Grand Lake Resort, its owners, employees, sponsors, affiliates, and event staff from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses arising from participation in the event. 9. Right to Modify or Cancel Lee’s Grand Lake Resort reserves the right to modify, postpone, or cancel the Competition at any time due to weather, safety concerns, insufficient participation, technical issues, or any circumstances beyond its control. 10. Conduct Participants are expected to behave respectfully toward staff, judges, and other contestants. Any aggressive, disruptive, intoxicated, or inappropriate behavior may result in removal from the event without compensation. 11. Agreement I confirm that: I am at least 18 years old. I understand and agree to these Terms & Conditions. I voluntarily participate in the Competition at my own risk. I authorize Lee’s Grand Lake Resort to use my personal information and likeness for marketing and promotional purposes. I release Lee’s Grand Lake Resort from liability related to my participation.
