Lee's Grand Lake Resort is a growing lakefront resort located on beautiful Grand Lake in Grove, Oklahoma. Our property includes guest cabins, RV sites, mobile home park, marina facilities, boat rentals, event venues, recreational amenities, a swimming pool, multisports court, and extensive lakefront grounds.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Lee's Grand Lake Resort is seeking a dependable, hands-on Maintenance Technician to join our resort maintenance
team. The Maintenance Technician will help maintain our guest cabins, resort facilities, grounds, marina, swimming pool, event venues, mobile homes, recreational equipment, and technology systems. This position plays an important role in ensuring our property remains safe, clean, functional, attractive, and ready for our guests, residents, and visitors.
The Maintenance Technician will work closely with the Senior Maintenance Technician and Resort Management to complete daily maintenance requests, preventive maintenance, repairs, improvement projects, and seasonal resort preparation.
KEY RESPONSBILITIES
Facility Maintenance

Perform routine, preventive, and emergency maintenance throughout the resort

Maintain and repair guest cabins, event venues, resort-owned mobile homes, marina facilities, common areas, and resort equipment

Troubleshoot and perform basic repairs involving plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, appliances, painting, drywall, and general mechanical systems

Install, maintain, and repair appliances, fixtures, furniture, and equipment

Inspect cabins and facilities before guest arrivals and after guest departures

Identify maintenance concerns and report major repairs, safety issues, or capital improvement needs to the Maintenance Supervisor

Assist with resort improvement, renovation, and construction projects
Grounds & Resort Appearance

Maintain resort grounds, walkways, decks, docks, common areas, and guest-accessible spaces
-
Assist with mowing, trimming, landscaping, leaf and debris removal, and seasonal property maintenance
-
Remove trash, spider webs, fallen branches, and other debris from guest-facing areas
-
Help maintain a clean, safe, welcoming, and professional appearance throughout the resort
Marina, Pool & Recreational Equipment

Maintain marina docks, boat slips, kayaks, Tritoons, and boating equipment

Assist with swimming pool opening, closing, and maintenance

Fuel guest and resort boats as needed

Inspect recreational equipment and report safety or maintenance concerns

Assist with maintaining boating and recreational storage areas
Event Venue Support

Assist with setup, breakdown, and maintenance of event venues

Help prepare tables, chairs, lighting, sound equipment, and other event-related equipment
-
Ensure event venues are clean, functional, safe, and ready for guests

Assist with weddings, reunions, church events, retreats, conferences, family gatherings, and other resort events as needed
Technology & Communications Support

Install, maintain, and troubleshoot resort internet and Wi-Fi equipment

Assist with routers, switches, wireless access points, and related networking equipment
-
Maintain and troubleshoot televisions, streaming devices, and audiovisual equipment
-
Provide basic support for resort computers, printers, office equipment, security cameras, and other technology systems
-
Coordinate with internet service providers and outside technology vendors as directed by management
-
Report technology equipment requiring repair, replacement, or upgrading
Safety & Operations

Follow all resort safety policies and procedures
-
Assist with inspections of smoke detectors, fire extinguishers, emergency lighting, and other safety equipment
-
Report hazards, accidents, unsafe conditions, and property damage promptly
-
Maintain accurate maintenance, equipment, utility, propane, and inspection records
-
Maintain an organized maintenance shop, tools, supplies, and equipment
-
Respond promptly and professionally to guest and staff maintenance requests
-
Work cooperatively with housekeeping, guest services, marina staff, event staff, and management
-
Perform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor or Resort Management
What We're Looking For

Previous experience in maintenance, construction, facilities, landscaping, hospitality, property management, or a related field preferred

Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, appliance repair, and general mechanical systems

Basic technology and troubleshooting skills preferred

Experience with internet/Wi-Fi systems, networking equipment, televisions, security cameras, or audiovisual equipment is a plus

Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, lawn equipment, and maintenance equipment

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Dependable, punctual, and willing to take initiative

Able to work independently while also being a team player

Professional and respectful when interacting with guests, residents, coworkers, vendors, and contractors

Valid driver's license preferred

Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
Schedule
This is a full-time position. The Maintenance Technician may be required to work weekends, holidays, evenings, and during special resort events based on operational needs.
